Biomedical Equipment Technician
Biomedical Equipment Technicians repair, maintain, and inspect various types of medical equipment in settings ranging from small physicians’ offices, to ambulatory outpatient care facilities, to large area hospitals. A Biomedical Equipment Technician must wear many hats. Having good communication skills, mechanical aptitude, motivation, and not being afraid of a challenge are critical for success in this field. I’ve been working in this industry now for the last 20 years, and I love the fact that I can utilize my skills, work ethic, and knowledge to truly make a difference in someone’s day. That is what sets this job apart from any other in my book.
