“We all wanted to be a nurse at one point and life happens and studying to be a nurse kind of got put on the back burner.  When the Apprenticeship came to light, I thought “well here’s my chance, I’ve always been saying I’m going to do this, so here it is”. They worked around our hours and we had to coordinate with our families to make it work.  It was just good timing to get it done finally.  I’m not getting any younger here.”
